Accounting Resources is co-owned by Alice Reeves, a native of Fayette County. Alice has a Bachelor’s degree from Shorter University and a Master’s degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. She has been in the accounting field since 1988 and is a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor®.
She served as President of the Fayette County Historical Society from 2008 to 2021. She was Treasurer, Vice President and President of the McIntosh Charter of the American Business Women’s Association along with being honored as their Woman of the Year in 2019. In 2020, she was named the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Business Person of the Year. She has served twice on the Coweta Fayette EMC Trust Board. She is Vice Chair of the Fayette County Public Facilities Authority. She has been appointed by the Supreme Court of Georgia to serve as a member of the Unlicensed Practice of Law District 6 Committee. She and Bob are members of New Hope Baptist Church and work as mentors for their high school Mentoring Tuesday program.
Co-owner Robert Reeves serves as the managing partner. He did both his undergraduate and law work at the University of Tennessee. He brings fifty years of experience in hotel/motel and restaurant management to the firm.
He is the Citizen Representation from Fayette/Fulton Counties on the Atlanta Regional Commission, having served as a Board Member and Treasurer, Past President of the Regional Business Coalition, a prior board member of Piedmont Fayette Hospital and a current board member of Fayette Senior Services. Likewise, he has served on the Coweta-Fayette EMC Trust Board and on the Board for the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce. Furthermore, he was named the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Business Person of the Year in 2014.
